The Plum Senior High School Mustang Marching Band provides our students with significant social, personal, and academic benefits that last an entire lifetime.  As a large, cohesive student group, our new members will strengthen their current friendships and will find themselves surrounded by new, positive social networks at the high school before classes even begin!  Our exciting performance opportunities include but are not limited to:
  • Kennywood performance for their annual Fall Fantasy Parades
  • Leading the Pittsburgh Veteran's Day parade and playing the opening ceremonies
  • Performing at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and other exciting music trips
  • Cheering on the Plum Mustang Football Team with sensational halftime performances, exciting and fun popular music, and our school spirit songs
  • Opportunities to play with other groups such as the River City Brass Band, guests from the Navy Band, Duquesne Jazz Band, etc.
  • Leading the student body at High School Pep Rallies
  • Performances throughout the community as well as on a larger scale

The Plum High Mustang Marching Band allows our students to do what they love while surrounded by friends sharing common goals and interests.  Our current members tremendously enjoy their numerous opportunities to continue our program's longstanding tradition of pride and excellence.
